At ReachOut we've worked closely with young people to design and deliver online tools that allow them to take control of their mental health and wellbeing.

Apps for young people

Good wellbeing is something we all need to work at to maintain. Wellbeing apps are a useful tool in caring for your teen's mental wellbeing. An app might help your teen:

  • be reminded to check in on how they're going

  • develop healthy habits such as daily journalling or exercise

  • improve their sleep hygiene and quality

  • study for exams.

There are thousands of wellbeing apps available, with many different purposes. ReachOut Toolbox is a collection of the ‘best apps for bodies and brains’ from around the Internet that are endorsed by professionals and reviewed by young people. Your young person can choose from the various goals related to mental health and wellbeing, and they'll be given recommendations of apps that might be helpful.
