When you get on a plane you're told that, in an emergency, you should get your own oxygen mask in order before those around you. This instruction flies in the face of most parents’ instincts, but if you lose consciousness you can't help anyone. The same can be applied to self care.
Even though it might seem tough to look out for yourself first it's actually really important for the wellbeing of your teens. We had a chat to some parents about the ways they use self care to stop, revive and survive.
